Our certificates explained

What a certificate shows

An Herpetological & Wildlife Academy certificate confirms that the named person:

• completed every lesson of an online, theory-based course;
• scored at or above the published pass mark in its online assessments (the module quizzes, or a final assessment where the course has one), with the grade shown on the certificate;
• studied the version of the course shown on the certificate.

What it does not show

• It is not an accredited or regulated qualification.
• It does not certify practical competence in handling any animal.
• It does not qualify anyone to handle venomous or dangerous animals, or to give veterinary or medical treatment.
• Online assessments are unsupervised.
