Each course is split into modules and short lessons with video, written notes and downloads. Each module ends with a quiz. When you've completed every module you receive a certificate graded Pass, Merit or Distinction, based on your average quiz score.

No. Our certificates confirm you completed the course and its online assessments. They are not accredited qualifications and do not certify practical competence. Read more.

No. Each quiz can only be taken once, so review the lessons before you start. Afterwards you'll see the correct answer to anything you got wrong, and you can still read every lesson.

On your average score across all the module quizzes: Pass from the course's pass mark (usually 60%), Merit from 70% and Distinction from 80%. An average below the pass mark completes the course without a certificate.

You have 14 days to cancel. If you ask for immediate access and start the course, your right to cancel ends once you begin accessing the content — we ask you to confirm this at checkout. If something is wrong with a course, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act. Full policy.

No. An online course cannot teach or certify practical handling competence for dangerous animals. Our safety courses teach theory, risk awareness and emergency response only.
